Ten People’s Liberation Army Officers Promoted to Highest Rank

Ten People’s Liberation Army (PLA) officers were made generals — the highest rank for active service officers — at a ceremony attended by President Xi Jinping on Wednesday.

President Xi is also chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), China’s highest military authority.
